Nutrition is better to choose depending on the current physical activity, the state of the body and annual cycles. During heavy physical exertion, heavy food takes energy and slows down recovery. But annual cycles also significantly affect digestion.

In summer, during the intense heat, recovery slows down, and digestion does not do its job well. This forces you to eat less food. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality of food in order to get the maximum necessary for the body from it with a small amount. And in my experience, the best such food is fruit. But it is advisable to avoid eating something in large quantities only “for energy”, because such food during digestion will take away the last strength. It is also important to replenish the water supply in the body. You can drink, or you can eat, for example, cucumbers or something like that. But at the same time, we must not forget that individual characteristics and traditions can influence much more than other conditions.

You need to learn to listen to yourself. Although this is not enough, because sensations can be deceiving. You also need to analyze your condition. For example, too little sleep, rapid fatigue, excessive nervousness may indicate that something is wrong with nutrition. Of course, there may be other reasons for this, such as illness. In my experience, if sleep is normal, then digestion is normal. This is the first sign. A heavy meal, or excess food, makes sleep short and restless.

In winter, extra energy is needed, so you can afford heavier meals. And even necessary. Again – taking into account their characteristics, traditions and habits. You can gradually retrain yourself to accept unusual food, but this can take months or even years. Therefore, habits and traditions (also traditional periods of abstinence and holidays) are also important to consider. Traditions really have a strong influence on the physical condition. But the individual characteristics of the organism also play an important role.

In general, it is important to observe yourself, monitor your energy, your sleep and physical tone. It is also important to follow the sensations and desires, cheerfulness. But besides this, make purely logical conclusions, since sensations can be deceptive. And make assumptions, experiment. But the general scheme is something like this – fruit in summer, something heavier in winter. During strong physical activity, these rules can be violated, and during maximum physical activity, one must remember that heavy food takes strength during its digestion.
